California Gold Rush’ is a sport of ‘Sutter’s Mill’ with leaves that emerge chartreuse and frosted coated in spring, as the season progresses the frosted coating fades and brightens to a golden yellow with dark green margins. Leaves are slightly corrugated/cupped and appear wavy. Producing near white flowers in June/July months.
